Metalworking can be a high-pressure job. Literally. ThermaFab Alloy manufactures our tanks to specifications established by the American Society of mechanical Engineers (A.S.M.E.). This certification enables us to fabricate unfired pressure vessels requiring the “U” stamp, as described in Section VIII, Division 1, of the A.S.M.E. Boiler and pressure Vessel code. Our custom tanks and vessels are used in virtually every industry, including:

As an A.S.M.E. code shop, our customers have the confidence of knowing that their pressure vessel is fabricated and inspected to an internationally accepted safety standard.
Materials used for tank construction are listed under Section II of the code with mill test reports for complete traceability including heat number & chemical analysis. ThermaFab’s welders are certified under code Section IX, for the particular material type, joint design and thickness range required.
